REVELATION 9:1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key of the shaft of the Abyss; 2 he opened the shaft of the Abyss and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth; 4 they were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads; 5 they were allowed to torture them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it stings a man. 6 And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from them. 7 In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, 8 their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth; 9 they had scales like iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting men for five months lies in their tails. 11 They have as king over them the angel of the Abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
II THESSALONIANS 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [the return of Christ] will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining [the Abyss], that he may be revealed in his own time.
ABADDON (white letters on maroon)
The name "Abaddon" in Hebrew (aleph-beth-dalet-vav-nun) is encoded in the Torah at an ELS of 2 in Genesis 29:2. Abaddon is the demonic king who rules over the fallen angels currently locked in the Abyss (Rev. 9:11).
THE BEAST (white letters on dark blue)
The Hebrew words ha-behema, which are translated "the beast" (hey-beth-hey-mem-hey), are encoded at an ELS of -2, beginning in Genesis 28:22 and ending in Genesis 28:21. "The beast" is the name given to the being who rises out of the Abyss (Rev. 11:7; 17:8).
MAN OF SIN (yellow letters on black)
The Hebrew words 'ish 'avon, which mean "man of sin/iniquity" (aleph-yod-shin-ayin-vav-nun) are found in the matrix at an ELS of 70. It begins in Genesis 28:6 and ends in Genesis 28:13.
KING (dark blue letters on light blue)
The Hebrew word for "king" (mem-lamed-kaph) appears just below "man of sin" in the matrix, at an ELS of 71. It begins in Genesis 28:7 and ends in Genesis 28:10.
ANGEL (yellow letters on dark green)
The Hebrew word for "angel" (mem-lamed-aleph-kaph) appears diagonally in the middle of the matrix at an ELS of 217. It begins in Genesis 28:12 and ends in Genesis 29:1.
ABYSS (white letters on red)
At the bottom of the matrix is the Hebrew word for "Abyss" (teth-hey-vav-mem). The Bible identifies the Abyss as the location where some of the fallen angels are currently restrained (Luke 8:31). This word is found at an ELS of 10, beginning in Genesis 29:8 and ending in Genesis 29:9.
RESTRAIN (dark blue letters on yellow)
The Hebrew word for "restrain" (aleph-pey-koph) appears at an ELS of 8 in Genesis 29:3.
FIFTH TRUMPET (yellow letters on maroon)
The biblical Hebrew word for "trumpet" (shin-pey-resh) diagonally crosses "man of sin" in the top center of the matrix at an ELS of 81. It is preceded by the Hebrew letter hey, which in the Hebrew numbering system can represent the adjective "fifth." This is found beginning in Genesis 28:6 and ending in Genesis 28:12.
RELEASE (red letters on white)
The Hebrew word for "release" (pey-tav-cheth) appears in the upper left corner of the matrix at an ELS of -2. It is found in Genesis 28:6.
SMOKE (white letters on gray)
The Hebrew word for "smoke" (aleph-shin-nun) appears at an ELS of 74, beginning in Genesis 29:6 and ending Genesis 29:8.
LOCUSTS (dark blue letters on light green)
The Hebrew word for "locusts" (aleph-resh-beth-hey) is found at an ELS of -70, beginning in Genesis 29:5 and ending in Genesis 29:2.
TEMPLE (yellow letters on blue)
The Hebrew word for "temple" (hey-yod-kaph-lamed) appears at an ELS of 299, beginning in Genesis 28:13 and ending in Genesis 29:7. This word shares a kaph with the Hebrew word for "angel."
HEAVEN (white letters on blue)
The Hebrew word for "heaven" (shin-mem-yod-mem) appears in the center of the matrix at an ELS of 1. It is found in Genesis 28:17.
ABOMINATION (light blue letters on red)
The Hebrew word for "abomination" (shin-koph-tsadi) appears in the center right of the matrix at an ELS of -3. It is found in Genesis 28:16.
DESOLATION (red letters on light blue)
The Hebrew word for "desolation" (shin-mem-mem) is found at an ELS of -222 crossing vertically through the word "abomination." It begins in Genesis 28:18 and ends in Genesis 28:11. Both "abomination" and "desolation" intersect the word "temple."
BLASPHEMY (white letters on purple)
The Hebrew word for "blasphemy" (nun-aleph-tsadi-hey) appears at an ELS of -1 in Genesis 29:7.
