AZAZEL (red letters on yellow)
The name "Azazel" in Hebrew (ayin-zayin-aleph-zayin-lamed) is encoded in the Torah twice in this matrix. Once it occurs in the surface text (Leviticus 16:8); crossing this occurrence and sharing the first zayin, the second instance of "Azazel" is found at an ELS of -294, beginning in Leviticus 16:13 and ending in Leviticus 15:25. Azazel is mentioned specifically in the Torah in Leviticus 16. The Book of Enoch, written before the New Testament, shows that "Azazel" was a ruler of the group of rebellious angels that descended to earth before the Flood (Gen. 6:1-4).

ABADDON (yellow letters on maroon)
The name "Abaddon" in Hebrew (aleph-beth-dalet-vav-nun) is encoded in the Torah at an ELS of -588, beginning in Leviticus 17:4 and ending in Leviticus 15:30. Abaddon ("Destroyer") is the angelic king who rules over the fallen angels currently locked in the Abyss (Rev. 9:11).

THE BEAST (white letters on dark blue)
The Hebrew words which are translated "the beast" (hey-beth-hey-mem-hey), are encoded at an ELS of 297, beginning in Leviticus 18:2 and ending in Leviticus 18:30. "The beast" is the name given to the one who rises out of the Abyss (Rev. 11:7; 17:8).

THE ABYSS (white letters on red)
The Hebrew word for "the Abyss" (hey-teth-hey-vav-mem) is found at an ELS of 591, beginning in Leviticus 16:2 and ending in Leviticus 17:8. The Bible identifies the Abyss as the location where some of the fallen angels are currently restrained (Luke 8:31).

RELEASE (black letters on orange)
The Hebrew word for "release" (lamed-shin-lamed-cheth) appears at an ELS of 7 in Leviticus 16:27. Abaddon will be released from the Abyss at the sounding of the fifth trumpet (Rev. 9:1-11).

KING (dark blue letters on light blue)
The Hebrew word for "king" (mem-lamed-kaph) appears in the matrix at an ELS of 1 in Leviticus 16:27. Abaddon is the king of the Abyss (Rev. 9:11).

ANGEL (yellow letters on dark green)
The Hebrew word for "angel" (mem-lamed-aleph-kaph) appears in the matrix at an ELS of -285. It begins in Leviticus 17:3 and ends in Leviticus 16:22. Abaddon is called the "angel of the Abyss" (Rev. 9:11).

LOCUSTS (dark blue letters on light green)
The Hebrew word for "locusts" (aleph-resh-beth-hey) is found at an ELS of 297, beginning in Leviticus 16:8 and ending in Leviticus 16:21. The demons released from the Abyss at the sounding of the fifth trumpet are described as "locusts" (Rev. 9:3).

IMPRISONED (yellow letters on black)
The Hebrew word for "imprisoned" (kaph-lamed-vav-aleph) is found in the matrix at an ELS of 6 in Leviticus 18:24. Abaddon is currently imprisoned in the Abyss.

BLASPHEMY (white letters on purple)
The Hebrew word for "blasphemy" (nun-aleph-tsadi-hey) appears at an ELS of -1185, beginning in Leviticus 18:24 and ending in Leviticus 16:8. Abaddon will speak blasphemy against the Most High after he is released from the Abyss (Dan. 7:8, 20, 25; Rev. 13:5-7).

HORN (black letters on pink)
The Hebrew word for "horn" (koph-resh-nun) is found at an ELS of -881. It begins in Leviticus 16:27 and ends in Leviticus 15:30. Abaddon is symbolized as a horn in Daniel 7 (v. 8, 11, 20, 21).

TEMPLE (yellow letters on blue)
The Hebrew word for "temple" (hey-yod-kaph-lamed) appears at an ELS of 8, beginning in Leviticus 16:21 and ending in Leviticus 16:22. This word shares a kaph with the Hebrew word for "angel" and a hey with "locusts." Abaddon will sit in the temple of God after his release and proclaim himself to be God (2 The. 2:4).
